Clare Language Centre is a small English school with a family atmosphere in Ennis, a small town on the West Coast of Ireland. It is located just minutes from the famous Cliffs of Moher, one of the most famous places in Ireland!

Courses List
English Courses for Adults
The Semi Intensive course is based on the needs of the students in the class. All classes incorporate the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing and is designed to improve communication in spoken and written English.
The Semi Intensive + 5 course allows the student to study in a group in the morning and work of specific areas of language development on a one to one basis in the afternoon.
The Semi Intensive + 10 course allows the student to study in a group in the morning and work of specific areas of language development on a one to one basis in the afternoon.
This is the perfect course for a very serious student with specific goals to achieve in work or their studies.
The Business English Course is a one to one course based on the needs of the student.
Topics covered include; the language of meetings, negotiations and presentations, marketing, sales and advertising as well as techniques for telephoning and e-communication.
This course is designed to maximise the time you have in our school.
Common topics that are covered include: presentation and interview skills, academic writing skills for essays and reports, specific writing skills for journalists, academic reading skills and work related topics in areas such as; economics, finance, communications and sales.
The Adult Summer Course has been developed to offer Summer students the opportunity to study English in small, focused groups as well as get to know the local area.
The work experience programme includes English classes and essentially offers students a chance to continue to practice their English, with an unpaid placement in a local company.
This programme maximises the student’s opportunity to speak English throughout the day providing practical experience of working through the English language.
Teen Programs
This programme is ideal for students who want to learn English and enjoy an interesting and varied social programme, including visits to local attractions, a programme of sports and tournaments, or other fun activities such as dance, music, drama or arts & crafts.
The West Coast of Ireland is world famous for it´s waves and stunning coastal landscape. The Junior English and Surf programme is an excellent way for young students to study English and take part in their favourite hobby.
Combining the English language classes with horse riding is the perfect way for any horse lover to have an unforgettable experience. The AIRE approved stables is just 10 minutes from the school.
During the month of July, you can take English language classes combined with tennis. The tennis lessons are held a 10-minute walk from the school. We offer two levels – beginner and intermediate.
This camp is a two week programme for young learners. We enroll juniors as young as 9 years of age. This camp has been designed to optimise learning for young teens by doing activities with Irish kids of a similar age.
