The General English program will expand your horizon by helping you improve in all areas of English communication. You can choose between five courses, depending on your preferred location, and how much time per week you would like to invest in your learning experience.

During this program, partake in English lessons at Tamwood College in the morning and then hit the snow-capped slopes in the afternoon (daily from Monday to Friday, and also on the weekends). Whether you are a ski/snowboard beginner or want to improve your technique, the Whistler Campus Manager will advise you on the best lessons to book once you get to Whistler. You’ll quickly learn new skills and make friends as you explore the mountains!

This program is focused on improving your English language skills for teaching and is designed to prepare you for the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance Level 1 exam or the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors Level 1 exam.

A strong emphasis is placed on test-taking strategies while improving your overall English skills in grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking – all mandatory parts of the IELTS exam.

In this program, you will explore a broad range of business basics and management fundamentals. Courses include global business, workplace communications, finance, marketing, human resources, international trade, and project management.

The Digital Marketing program focuses on the many channels of marketing in modern-day business and is taught by industry professionals to give you the skills and knowledge for success.

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship program gives you the option to participate in a practicum. This includes the advantage of Canadian startup experience through a 160-hour practicum with one of our startup partner organizations.

In the Marketing for Startups program, you will create a product or service from scratch by going through all the steps of a marketing process in real-life conditions. This includes customer discovery, research, promotion, product design, and brand management.

In the Management for Startups program, you will learn how to manage company operations, finances, and human resources to help validate a business idea that will iterate and evolve.

In this programme students gain the essential industry knowledge and skills in customer service, hospitality, and tourism to allow them to be successful in entry to intermediate level positions in a broad range of related employment settings

This comprehensive training program allows students to develop the knowledge, skills, and real-world training needed for careers in the fast-paced food and beverage industry.

In this program, you will learn the practical skills, tools, and techniques used in the field of User Interface & Visual Communication Design, including creative software, layout and composition, colour and typographic theory, visual brand identity, conceptual and strategic thinking, and designing for digital interfaces.

In this program you will learn the skills, tools, and techniques used in the field of User Experience Design and apply them in a practical professional environment

In this program, you will learn how to design and code interactive client-facing websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

The Tamwood Teen Global Learner Camp provides young people with a rich educational experience through English language classes, educational activities, cross cultural living arrangements, leadership training and activities, and critical reflection.

This program uses the VEX Robotics System which offers teens an exciting platform for learning about career opportunities spanning science, technology, engineering, and math

The program offers English classes, sports, recreational and cultural activities and exciting excursions, including snow tubing, snowshoeing, and a day trip to Whistler. Accommodations include homestays, giving students the chance to experience life with a Canadian family.

Why let your kids have all the fun? You can travel together and experience a family learning holiday this winter or summer vacation! While the kids are learning and exploring with their peers in a Tamwood Camp program, adults build their own English fluency and skills at Tamwood Language Centres close by and enjoy self-arranged activities such as spa services, museum and gallery visits, sightseeing and more.
