Travelling and learning another language allows us to see the world from a different perspective. Staying abroad allows us to taste new things, have new experiences, meet new people, gain new perspectives and create new memories. In this article, we will give you 7 reasons why Dubai is one of the best destinations to go on a language trip at the moment!
1. No need of quarantine
In this time of covid, most countries have decided to close borders or impose quarantines on their visitors to prevent the spread of the virus, but did you know that in Dubai you don’t need to do quarantine? All the authorities require is a PCR test for COVID 19 with a negative result no more than 72 hours before.
2. Desert Safari
The desert safari is undoubtedly the most popular activity in Dubai and a trip to Dubai would not be complete without a visit to the desert.
The tour consists of driving through the desert in an air-conditioned 4×4, a personal guide who will tell you about the desert and its role in the culture of the Emirates. You will also be welcomed in a Bedouin style camp where you will have coffee and dates and where you can, if you wish, take a quad bike tour around the sand dunes. Later, you can take a camel ride and end the day with a barbecue dinner and a belly dance and whirling dervish show. Who said that there was no culture in Dubai?
3. Burj Khalifa
In early 2010 was completed the Burj Khalifa which, with its 828 meters and 160 floors, is the largest architectural structure on the planet.
In addition, you can buy tickets to climb to the top, admire the views and take a spectacular photo to show it on Instagram. If you do, don’t forget to tag us!
4. Ski Dubai
Now that you have heard about the Burj Khalifa, you have understood that everything is impressive in Dubai. Ski Dubai is the third largest indoor ski slope in the world, and the first to be opened in the Middle East. Not only will you be able to tell people that you’ve skied in the desert, but you’ll also be able to get closer to the penguins they host there. It’s practically a winter wonderland in the middle of the desert.
5. Palm Islands
They are two artificial islands with a palm tree shape having luxurious subdivisions and attractions for tourists and locals alike. Palm Jumeirah already has luxury mansions and a water park. The second is still under construction, but it will be the largest, Palm Jebel Ali.
6. Kite Beach
As its name almost suggests, this beach is famous for welcoming kiteboarders from all over the world. But there is everything you can do, you can do sports, swim, sunbathe, order something in a food truck or go to a café.
7. Sheikh Zayed Mosque
This mosque is not in Dubai but it’s very close to the city.
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is the largest mosque in the country and an important place of worship for Friday gatherings and Eid prayers (the breaking of the fast during Ramadan). It is also impressive both inside and outside.
