General English Courses are available in varying levels of intensity to practise the four main areas of language learning: reading, writing, speaking and listening. Lessons are topic-based and focus on fluency to help you build confidence to communicate in everyday situations. The courses are ideal for students of all language levels.

The Intensive English Course is designed to give you a good grounding in relevant, modern English. This course focuses mainly on speaking and listening to build your confidence in day-to-day conversations.

Business English lessons simulate realistic business situations such as presentations, meetings and negotiations so you can get all the practice you need. Interactive and engaging lessons where you can build your business vocabulary and fluency in realistic situations, carefully designed to give you the confidence needed in today’s fast-growing and ever changing business life. You will interact with other students from around the globe, delivering your opinions spontaneously and negotiating solutions confidently.

Private Tuition Courses are available for all levels and are ideal if you wish to make significant progress in a very short time, or if you wish to focus on a specific area of skills or topic.

During the course you will focus on exam techniques and academic skills for reading, listening, speaking and writing English, which you will need to pass the test. To help you with your preparation, you will have regular practice tests and receive support to help you monitor your progress. You should expect to do approximately two hours of homework each day.

English for 40+ is a combination of English lessons and a selection of social and cultural activities. This course is designed for mature students who prefer to improve their English and take part in excursions with people of the same age group.

Conversation English is a course designed to help you speak English naturally in a fun and fast way. It allows you to practice conversational techniques and learn English as spoken by native speakers, which will give you confidence when speaking in English.

IELS offers a minimum of 20 English lessons in bright airy classrooms. They have its own Young Learner course books which are targeted at students on short, vacation programmes; ensuring the lessons are communicative and topic based, while offering students the opportunity to communicate with their class-mates. Lessons, where applicable, relate to the afternoon and evening activities and excursions, helping students gain even more from their leisure programme.

The Junior Summer Camp has been designed to offer your children a unique opportunity to learn English.
They will enjoy a fun packed learning experience in a safe, secure and supervised environment. Lessons are designed to provide a solid foundation in the basic skills of English through conventional learning methods and activities, as well as through movement, pictures, stories, songs, games and their surroundings.

IELS Malta caters for individuals of various ages, starting from as young as 8 years old and going up to 50+. As many of their clients wish to visit Malta together with their families they have created a special combined course programme for Families.

This programme is aimed for students aged between 16 and 18 years old with minimum English level B1 / Intermediate (IELTS score 5.5)*.

Day’s Inn Hotel is a self-catering student residence owned and managed by IELS, offering excellent value accommodation close to the school. The newly refurbished, designer finished residence is located in the heart of Sliema, tucked away in a pleasant side street close to main shopping and entertainment area, the sea-front and departure points for public transport, sightseeing buses and cruises. St Julian’s, the popular nightlife area, is only 15 minutes away. The Residence caters for students 18 years and over.

Having an excellent location on the Sliema seafront, the Hotel is within walking distance from IELS Adult School in Sliema and Sliema centre, very popular for its shopping, cafes, bars and rocky beaches.
